Strong results for Dutch animal research transparency initiative

     

More research institutions are sharing information about animal testing, study finds

Research organisations in the Netherlands have made good progress on being transparent about their use of animals in testing, according to two reports.

On 3 May, a second annual report was published on the Transparency Agreement on Animal Research in the Netherlands. This describes the communication activities of the 21 signatories to the agreement, most of which are universities and research institutes. Several organisations grouped their responses together for a report survey, meaning that 17 responses were analysed.
