Academic groups call for democratic contribution to upcoming European election
German university and student leaders have called on staff and students to vote in the upcoming European elections.
The German Rectors’ Conference (HRK), the Free Association of Student Unions (FZS) and the German Student Union (DSW) also called for fair, respectful and peaceful political debate in a joint statement they published on 8 May.
