The chair of the Senate science committee has written to the director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy expressing concern that the OSTP is late in publishing a plan for the future of US scientific education.
Republican senator Frank Lucas said in his 1 May letter to Arati Prabhakar that the Federal Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (Stem) Education Strategic Plan for 2023-28 was due to have been presented last year but still has not surfaced.
