Ucea deal offers staff a pay increase of between 2.5 and 5.7 per cent
The 2024-25 university pay round negotiations are complete, the Universities and Colleges Employers Association has announced, with employers offering staff an annual increase of between 2.5 per cent and 5.7 per cent—although the University and College Union is yet to respond.
Ucea said the increase was offered alongside “a review of the pay spine and joint work on contract types, workload and pay gaps”. Negotiations with trade unions began in March, with Ucea stating that the new offer was an increase from the 2 per cent rise initially offered.
