NUJ warns of ‘major disruption’ to Nature if strikes continue

Union rep warns key journal could be affected by strikes on its publication day

The National Union of Journalists has said there will be “major disruption” to the next issue of Nature journal if the strike over pay at Springer Nature publishing group continues until publication day.

On 20 June, the first in a planned series of eight one-day strikes by editorial staff, representatives of Springer Nature’s branch at the NUJ spoke to Research Professional News.
