Advice on structuring an interview presentation to a major funder

This week, a deep dive into the Funding Insight archive produced this article from July 2018 by Dan Csontos, chief executive officer and editorial director of the consultancy Elevate Scientific, addressing how to structure a grant pitch to a major funder.

The funder Csontos specifically had in mind was the European Research Council, but his approach has obvious relevance elsewhere. Frame your presentation as a story and rehearse it thoroughly and you should be in with a shot, Csontos reasons, while also pointing out the missteps that can cause researchers to trip up.
